RESPONSIVE GRANTS 

The Evanston Communtiy Foundation is accepting proposals for program and capacity-building grants from nonprofit organizations serving the Evanston community. The Foundation will fund projects in a broad range of program areas that will have a long term impact on the community.

Types of Grants:

  • Program: continuing improvements to proven programs or projects that have shown long-term positive impact, new initiatives, pilot projects, capstone projects, or collaborations
  • Capacity building: organizational initiatives that focus on building infrastructure to support an organization's long-term growth and development (e.g. strategic plans, board development, staff development, technology upgrades)

Deadline: Applications must be submitted electronically through eGrants by midnight, February 13, 2012 and 15 hard copies of the application and required attachments must be delivered to 1007 Church St., Suite 108, Evanston by noon on Monday, February 13, 2012. The Foundation staff will be available to meet with grant seekers who have questions about a proposal or the application guidelines.
