Snapshot Evanston

Snapshot Evanston is a one day, fast-track orientation to Evanston designed to give local residents and Evanston-based employees a broader knowledge of the community and its issues. By the end of the exciting day, participants have a first hand picture of how Evanston works and its strengths and challenges. The program includes an overview of Evanston history, a bus tour highlighting important trends and developments, and panel discussion with distinguished Evanston leaders.

Snapshot will be offered again in Spring and Fall 2010.

Snapshot is also available at anytime as a custom-designed program for businesses, institutions and organizations seeking to provide staff and members with community information and insight.

This information-rich overview of Evanston has been applauded by a wide variety of attendees—from newcomers to the community to longtime residents and employees.  “Every business owner in Evanston should attend Snapshot”, says Dick Peach, a lifelong resident and longtime businessman who attended the Snapshot program.  Snapshot programs have been offered for the Woman’s Club of Evanston board, 600 incoming Kellogg School of Business students, and residents of The Georgian (Mather Lifeways).
